Meet me on Joy…the joy is in the journey…it’s all a journey and not a destination. I spent some time today with one of my angels who asks me the questions. I have a few and I highly recommend these checks and balances angels in your life. People who will tell you the truth when you might not want to hear it and also those that say “are you being a little hard on yourself right now?” Both/and. I am a procrastinator extraordinaire. And I am a fierce competitor.… Tell me I can’t do something and look out.
Lucky for me, I have a little bird (not really so little) home for the summer that was willing to take the time to nudge me out of delaying the things holding me back from the space I want to create for more writing and corresponding photos and art. We gnashed and chewed and huffed and laughed. And tonight there is progress and shift and a sense of satisfaction.
More to focus on tomorrow. And yes, a stroll on Joy. My angel reminded me enough that the discomfort of NOT taking action far outweighs the discomfort in the action. So here I am jumping for Joy. With you!
It’s Friday. For many, a three day weekend. The beginning of summer, although spring is stalling here in Boston. Cheers! Enjoy! Woo hoo!
