“On the road again”, like Willie Nelson sang. Got to connect with some of my favorite people today with a sense of timelessness. What a gift. I tend to be a philosophizer. Deep thinker. And then there are these great forces in my life that get me out of that and just present in the moment. Laughter. Stories from growing up. Burgers on the grill. Sharing parenthood and brainstorming layout for a new garden. Planting pots. Sharing adventures.We spend so much time in the motion of must do life. And then I remember GET TO. I get to do life and I have been blessed with some beautiful teachers in the department of FUN.And then there’s more ahead tomorrow?! I can hardly stand it. Be serious about your fun, people.
