Postcards and Billboards (day 49)

April 18, 2017 (day 49)
Wow. Some writers block tonight. I guess that is bound to happen AND I did pledge to being real. Our 100% only determined in showing up and giving our best effort. And tonight I am remembering the recent post that read “a good laugh and a long sleep are the cures…”.Full plate day. I am grateful. The blooms are popping here. Hallelujah. And my friend mentioned this evening that there is something to “Spring Fever” and fatigue. Sounds about right.I snapped this photo last week while I stayed with my folks. That particular door leads up to my old bedroom. I love the doorknob and keyhole. And I know that little sign was not hanging there when I was a resident. But that is beside the point. ENJOY LIFE is. This IS NOT A REHEARSAL and I have had a few reminders that it definitely isn’t. And yet I still dread the mundane, and then have my holy moments and then I forget again.

Mary Oliver said so eloquently…”instructions  for life: pay attention, be amazed, tell about.”
That is what I am doing here most days. Every day actually. I wonder, what postcards do YOU see? I’d love to see them or hear about them.

And now for the long sleep.
